Sleeping babies

If I had a quarter each time this baby farts and spits up- I'd be a millionaire! But her she is sleeping and farting- so cute...the there's bailey probably mad at me that she gets less attention now! And Aubrey today happy as can be!

Cora and dairy

Well don't you just love when you figure something out on your own or find an answer to a question no one else can answer!? That's exactly what happened this weekend! Not all in a good way though - poor Cora had to spit up some more for me to get a clue that my dairy in my diet was making her spit up more and projectile! I cut dairy out of my diet about 3 weeks ago just to see if it made a difference in Cora's spitting up- since dairy can sometimes be the culprit when breastfeeding. I didn't think it was making a huge difference last friday (and my brother was getting married so I wanted to indulge in dairy) so I decided to eat cheese again. BIG MISTAKE! Immediately Cora started projectile spitting up again and larger amounts than what I was recently used to. Poor thing. So as soon as I realized t, I gave it up again. Oh well, I do miss it but it's not for too long and I don't mind giving it up if it will make both of our lives easier!

Succulent garden

Brian started our succulent garden this weekend- I absolutely love it and can't wait for more to plant all around the house!

Cora update

Cora is so cute! She's just started cooing and smiling at us! And today I caught her watching her mobile spin around on her swing- she's growing up so fast already!

Chik fil a

Chik fil a is pretty much the only fast food we eat out at. Aubrey loves the play area and also loves the food with is pretty healthy considering she gets fruit and milk with her nuggets. The chicken and their lemonade is really good here. today as we were leaving, Aubrey was having a tantrum and the manager came over and asked Aubrey if she wanted a hat. Crisis averted! Aubrey responded with a smile and a big yes please! The manager helped us out the door and told us to come back again! Seriously, I love this place!

Tummy time!

Cora loves tummy time- she's been very sting since the day she was born and she knows how to lift and turn her head so well already! Only problem is she spits up every time no matter how long we wait after feedings!

Cora is 5 weeks today!

Still spitting up at pretty much every feeding but slept 5 hours last night and was not her usual nighttime fussy self- woo hoo for mommy! Cora is a pretty happy baby and we are working on getting her on a schedule so we can get closer to sleeping thru the night or at least sleeping longer amounts with 1 waking.

I took this as fast as I could cause at this point it's impossible to get a picture with both girls smiling! Also Cora is growing so fast I had to coordinate this before she grew out of the newborn size pjs! Here's their first of many Matching outfits!
